Beata's professional background, credentials and years of experience makes her an expert in food and nutrition. Whether working one-on-one with clients at the healthcare institution, conducting
health and wellness programs, seminars and workshops in her private practice or consulting with the media, Beata is able to translate the latest nutrition and health information into practical and easy to
follow diet advice. She's not about fads, but rather science-based nutrition advice to help clients achieve their nutrition and health goals.
Beata has earned her Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from University of Toronto. After her completion of a Comprehensive Dietetic Internship Program in London Health Sciences Centre and successfully passing the board exam has soon earned her a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential. In the recent years she has also became a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) to offer optimum care for the pre-diabetic and diabetic population.
Beata has been practicing in the field of nutrition for over 12 years, working in different areas of nutrition such as weight management, diabetes care, heart health, pregnancy, pediatrics, sports/fitness, healthy
lifestyle and research. She also has varied working experience with a diverse group of organizations / private clinics, corporate businesses and a number of leading healthcare institutions. Besides working at Southlake Regional Health Centre as the cardiac program and diabetes education centre’s nutrition consultant, she is also the founder and an inspiring professional speaker for WISECHOICES Nutrition Consulting offering a number of health and wellness programs, seminars and workshops for individuals, couples, families or in a group setting of all ages. She also consults with many leading corporate
businesses, offering corporate wellness and nutrition programs, as well as authors numerous articles for magazines and newspapers across the country. In addition, Beata collaborates with a number of family physicians and pediatricians where she offers nutrition and wellness solutions to patients and their families. She also conducts seminars& workshops at daycares, elementary and high schools on healthy lifestyles to both children and their parents.
Working as a Registered Dietitian, Beata has helped thousands of individuals achieve their nutrition and fitness goals. She also offers clients both dietary advice and science–based recommendations on the use of nutritional supplements and functional foods.
Ms. Blajer enjoys cooking and eating for energy and enjoyment as well as staying active through cycling, hiking, pilates and body sculpting. Her and her family love the outdoors. She loves spending time with her family and friends.

Dietitian or Nutritionist?
The title "Registered Dietitian", "Professional Dietitian", and "Dietitian" are protected by law - through provincial legislation - so that only qualified practitioners who have met education qualifications can use that title. Dietitians who have met national standards for education and training and who are members of the provincial regulatory bodies can use one of the following designations - RD, RDN, PDt or RDt (or the French equivalent Dt.P.)..........
